A space for creators, created by many organizations
Led by SUT and Krungthai Bank, together with more than 10 partners, such as True Digital Park | PTTDigitalSolutions | B2S Thailand | Central Tech - CTO | Amazon Web Services | Globaltronic intertrade | Autodesk ASEAN
“Creator Space (NEXT) is located on the 6th floor of Pegasus True Digital Park, Sukhumvit Road, the digital hub of Thailand. The objective of the Creator Space (NEXT) is to support and create entrepreneurs in digital businesses to help drive the Thai economy to grow with innovation, increase access to tools and technologies for innovation creation, and become an innovator community, driving the economy with innovation and knowledge (Acknowledge-Based-Economy), to provide knowledge in the form of classrooms, workshops, and technical and business training to create a society of digital experts (Professional Society), promote a culture of knowledge exchange in Thailand, and strengthen the collaborative society and digital business networks.
“Creator Space (NEXT)” has been set up as a space for innovators to exchange knowledge through workshops, online training, seminars, and classrooms, etc., and has 6 service functions, including:
1. Innovative Relations (Human Resources) Area for exchanging knowledge among students, researchers and interested persons.
With innovators with expertise in various fields to create innovations and develop them into startups in the digital business sector.
2. Creative space and activities (Maker Space and Offline Activities) Space for creating works and innovations, workshops, training, creative idea competitions or hackathons, etc.
3. Digital Community (Online Community) is a space for brand building and brand development to be known through support from networks in the digital community and online business competition.
4. Knowledge and Technical Partners: A place to exchange knowledge and creative methods between partners and innovators, leading to the development of digital businesses.
5. Cooperation with the government sector (Government) Supporting funding for research and innovation development to stimulate investment in startup projects, promoting digital businesses to support economic growth.
6. Financial Support Financial support and knowledge exchange with private sector organizations to create innovations to further the economy.
Professor Dr. Suchatvee continued that for the future trends of digital innovation business data in 2020 that will be highly popular, it can be divided into 4 major groups:
Fintech and Blockchain Group: Financial innovations that will revolutionize the global financial system, financial risk management and digital security, having financial virtual assistants, and the wealth of the new generation.
Smart Healthcare Innovation Group, Telemedicine and Cloud, Medical Treatment Data Storage, Internet of Medicine Things (IoMT), Use of AI in the Treatment Process, etc.
Robotics and AI Group: Developing technology for automatic printing in various languages to check accuracy, developing the use of robots in homes and offices, etc.
Smart City Group: Developing innovative technology to support the lifestyle of city people, doing business in the digital world, public transportation and communication systems that will develop to 5G in the near future, etc.
The target groups of the Creator Space (NEXT) are students, teachers, innovation and research personnel, the media, and the general public.
